Kia EV9: You can go home in one charge! Great electric cars are coming to the country

The use of electric vehicles is increasing in India. Manufacturers are moving forward with the target of launching more and more such cars. Now Kia is going to launch their second electric vehicle in India. They brought the EV6 model in May 2022. And it has been reported that the company will launch EV9 on October 3. It is a seven seater electric SUV. Already available in various countries, this car is going to be Kia's flagship model in India.

Kia EV9 specifications

First let's talk about the range. The company claims that the Kia EV9 can run 541 kilometers on a full charge. This is the certified range i.e. the range will be more or less under actual conditions. It will come with ultra fast 800 volt charging. It can travel 239 km in just 15 minutes of charge. Kia offers high-end technology such as Highway Driving Pilot System Conditional Level Three autonomous driving technology.

Kia EV9 will be completely manufactured abroad and imported and sold in India. This car has already won the Ekadik award. Received the 'World Car of the Year' award this year. Speaking of performance, the standard RWD model will offer a 76.1kWh battery. On the other hand, the RWD Long Range and AWD variants will have a 99.8 kWh battery.

The RWD long range version will get a 150 kW/350 Nm electric motor, which can accelerate from 0-100 km in 9.4 seconds. The standard model has a 160 kW/350 Nm motor. On the other hand, the most powerful AWD model has dual motors, which produce 283 kW of power and 600 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 6 seconds.
