The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX has finally made its debut. This sports touring bike has received a bunch of updates in the new version. It comes in two trims – Standard and SE. Kawasaki has used a new 1099 cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine in the bike, which produces 136 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm.
The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and an updated quick shifter that operates from 1,500 rpm. This will enable the rider to use the quick shifter even at low speeds. The Ninja 1100 SX's engine has been tuned to improve the torque curve across the rpm range, claims the Japanese company. It will improve the riding.
In terms of design, however, there is nothing new. The sharp front fairing with twin LED headlights and even the side and tail sections remain the same. On the SE trim, gold and black color graphics are present, which beautifully matches the green color of the bike. The chassis is also unchanged except for the larger rear disc brake. It will ride on 17-inch wheels.
Special features of the Kawasaki Ninja 1100 SX include LED lights, TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, power mode, traction control system, ABS, cruise control and USB-C charging port. Again the SE version will get heated grips as a standard feature. This bike is likely to be launched in India next December.
