Jio brings back its Rs 999 prepaid plan, more validity than before.
Not long ago, leading telecom operators like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel hiked the prices of mobile prepaid and postpaid plans to increase their average revenue per user. Jio's plan prices have been increased by 10 to 27 percent this time, including multiple long-term plans. And because of this many Jio users are in trouble. However, recently Jio brought back its Rs 999 plan with several updates. After 3 July 2024 which cost Rs 1,199. Let's know more about this plan.
Jio's Rs 999 plan
Before the tariff increase, the validity of the Rs 999 plan was 84 days. And currently it is offering 98 days validity which means users will now get additional 14 days validity with it. Also, earlier this plan offered 3GB data per day i.e. a total of 252GB data. However, now with this 2 GB data is being provided every day i.e. total 196 GB data.
Since, this plan offers 2GB data per day, it allows users to access high speed 5G data in 5G dominated areas under the “Jio True 5G” service. Also, users of this plan will also get 100 SMS per day and unlimited voice calls.
In this context, in view of Jio, Airtel has also brought a plan of Rs 979 for its users. Which offers 2GB data per day, 100 SMS per day and unlimited voice calls with 84 days validity. In addition, this plan also offers unlimited 5G services and free Amazon Prime membership for 56 days.
