Although the name of the bike that is going to be launched on September 3 is yet to be revealed, the company has uploaded a teaser on social media. It is expected to be based on the Jawa 42.
The new animated teaser gives some idea of ​​the look of the upcoming Jawa bike. It can be assumed that it has a new design. Because the teaser shows a new fuel tank, off-set fuel filler cap, and new cowling around the headlights. The side and tail panels also appear to be different.
Based on the Jawa 42, this bike may use the new Jawa 350's 334 cc liquid cooled engine. It is capable of producing 22.19 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 28.1 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. Comes with six speed gearbox. The engine offers improved refinement and heat management over the previous model. Upgrades can be seen in the chassis, suspension and braking system of Jawa's new bike.
More details of the motorcycle are expected to be officially confirmed before the launch. Price is likely to be around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda H'ness 350.
