iQOO will soon launch a new model under their Neo series, namely iQOO Neo 7 Pro 5G. Several recent reports have suggested that the new iQOO phone with the model number I2217 that was earlier slated to hit the market with the trade name iQOO Neo 7T 5G, could be the upcoming Neo 7 Pro 5G. The device has now appeared on the Geekbench 6 benchmarking database, listing some of its key specifications. Let’s take a look at them.
The iQOO Neo 7 Pro 5G was spotted on the Geekbench 6 database
According to the Geekbench 6 listing, the iCo Neo 7 Pro model will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. Although, the processor name is not mentioned directly in the listing, it is reported that the octa-core chip has four cores running at 1.80GHz, three cores running at 2.50GHz and a prime core clock speed of 3.0GHz. And this information confirms the presence of the mentioned chipset in ICO Neo 7 Pro.
Also, the Geekbench listing revealed that the likely iCo Neo 7 Pro will offer 8GB of RAM, but other RAM variants may also hit the market at launch. The listing mentions that the device will run on the latest Android 13 operating system, which may have FunTouch OS 13 custom skin layered on top. The Aiko Neo 7 Pro scored 1,572 points and 4,000 points in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
Let it be known that iQOO has launched two smartphones in China in the last few months – iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition. Both models are powered by Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The iQOO Neo 7 Pro is probably a rebranded variant of either of these two models. The device is expected to be launched in the Indian market by the end of June. Recent reports suggest that the Indian version of the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will offer a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, 8GB / 12GB RAM, 256GB storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging. The price of Neo 7 Pro in India can be between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000.
