The demand curve in India's electric car market is picking up, albeit slowly. That is why various domestic and foreign companies are jumping in the said segment. Hyundai India is the pioneer of that path. The company announced that it will launch the Crater electric version in India in January 2025. Recently, in a press conference, the company's CEO, Tarun Garg, told this publicly about the Hyundai Creta EV.
It is known that the production of the upcoming car will start from the end of 2024. The car is currently undergoing extensive testing in the Indian and international markets. It is one of the three upcoming mid-size electric SUVs to take on the Tata Curvv EV.

It comes with a 45 kWh battery pack. The Hyundai Creta EV may be offered with a smaller battery than the MG ZS EV. It may have a front-mounted charging port, which is also present on the Kona EV.
Hyundai Creta EV – Design and Features
