Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro along with Watch Fit revealed at the Huawei AI Life Product launch today in Europe. Watch Fit has already launched in the Middle East a few weeks ago. Watch GT 2 Pro is a premium watch and is significantly upgraded over its predecessors.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro Specifications
According to the Gizmochina report, Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro features a 1.39-inch 454 x454 AMOLED display and the display is secured with a scratch-resistant sapphire glass. The watch is premium in build, the body is made up of titanium, and the underside is ceramic.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro has multiple watch faces to choose from, one of the user is the Starry Sky Watch Face that shows the moon phase. Another notable feature Huawei announced for the watch is OneHop Watch Face. This feature allows you to take a picture with your phone and use it as a watch face just by touching the phone (Huawei models with NFC and running EMUI 11+) against the dial of the watch and you have a new watch face.
The watch is available in two variants – Classic and Sport. There are more than 100 workout modes bundled with the watch including professional ones such as Golf Driving Range mode and Skiing and Snowboarding mode that show info such as slope and elevation.
Another feature is an offline navigator with a route back mode. The watch has a lot of sensors including stress monitor, sleep tracking, SpO2 monitor, and a heart rate monitor that help in maintaining your health and alerts you when it detects an abnormal heart rate.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro easily give a 14-day battery life in typical usage. It will last 30 hours with GPS enabled all the time and can also provide up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge. The watch also support wireless charging and a 5-minute charge will provide up to 10 hours of usage that’s pretty impressive.
The smartwatch comes with 4GB of onboard storage, so you are able to install more than a few apps. You can also accept calls with the smartwatch when paired with your smartphone as it has a built-in microphone and speaker.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro Sport version is priced at €329 ( Rs. 28,700 approx ) while the Classic version is priced at €349 ( Rs. 30,400 approx ). The watch is available in two color options namely Night Black and Nebula Gray. Watch GT 2 Pro will go on sale later this month.

Huawei Watch Fit features a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with 280×456 pixels resolution, 326ppi of pixel density, and 70 percent screen-to-body ratio with 2.5D curved glass protection. The smartwatch paired with 4GB of onboard storage. In terms of sensors, Huawei has the support of a six-axis IMU sensor that includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, optical heart rate sensor, and ambient light sensor.
The Huawei WatchFit is able to provide alerts for SMS messages, incoming calls, and calendar apps. Furthermore, it can provide message notifications from social media apps. The watch comes with a remote shutter or for controlling music playback on your smartphone. Besides, it includes features including Weather, Alarm, Timer, and Stopwatch.
The smartwatch packs with a built-in battery that is said to deliver 10 days of typical usage or 12 hours of backup on the GPS mode. The watch also has 5 ATM water-resistance as well as compatibility with devices running at least Android 5.0 or iOS 9.0. Moreover, the Huawei Watch Fit measures 46x30x10.7mm and weighs 21 grams (without the strap).
