Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro are the new premium smartwatches from the Chinese Tech Giant that was revealed along with Watch 3 Pro. It is the first smartwatch from the brand that comes running on Harmony OS and also the first watch to come with the support of video calling through Mee Time service.
Huawei Watch 3 Specifications
Huawei Watch 3 features a 1.43 inches OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 1000nits peak brightness. The watch comes in different variants including an “active” model with a rubber strap, a “classic” version with leather, a “sporty classic” and an “elite” variant with a metal bracelet. The smartwatch also supports e-Sim so you can call through the watch without the need for mobile.
For connectivity, the watch includes 4G LTE, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.2. The watch comes powered with a HiSilicon Hi6262 chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. In terms of DImensions, the watch measures 46.2 x 46.2 x 12.2 and weighs 54 grams.
The Watch 3 comes with a Spo2 sensor, sleep tracking, temperature sensor, heart rate sensor, and more. The watch can continuously track temperature and heart rate throughout the day. The company has bundled 100 workout modes including cycling, running, climbing, and swimming. Additionally, the watch supports video calls through Huawei’s Mee Time service.
The watch comes running on Harmony OS and supports 3rd party app installation but it is still unclear which apps can be installed or compatible. Huawei claimed 3 days of battery life with 4G enabled and it can be extended via a battery saving mode that restricts some major power consumption apps and provide more battery and it has another ultra long-lasting mode that can extend the battery life to two weeks.
Huawei Watch 3 Pro Specifications
Huawei Watch 3 Pro has similar specifications but has a more premium build. The watch 3 Pro has a titanium body and ceramic shell along with sapphire glass. Despite the design, the watch also has dual-channel GPS for more accurate position tracking. The watch also has a large battery that can provide up to 5 days battery life in normal usage and up to 3 weeks in ultra long lasting mode.
Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro Price and Availability
Huawei Watch 3 comes at a starting price of £349.99 ( Rs. 36,100 approx ) and it will be available for purchase from June 18 in the UK and also interested users can reserve the watch starting from today to June 17. While the Watch 3 Pro starts at £499.99 ( Rs. 51,700 approx ) and will go on sale from June 28 in the UK and interested users can reserve the watch from today till June 28.
