Huawei MatePad T10, MatePad T10s Launched with Kids Corner Feature, Kirin 710A SoC


Huawei MatePad T10 and MatePad T10s have been announced as the company’s latest Android Pad. According to the Gadget360 report, Both tablets come with Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 710A SoC and run on EMUI 10.1. The tablets come with inbuilt Kids Corner that lets parents restrict certain content to the kids.

Huawei has also offered a Dark Mode in the new tablets. Like other Huawei devices, MatePad T10 and MatePad T10s additionally come with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and Huawei AppGallery, instead of Google Mobile Services and Google Play. The tablets come in Wi-Fi and LTE variants.

Huawei Matepad T10 features a 9.7-inch IPS display with 1,280×800 pixels resolution and 156ppi pixel density.  The tablet is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710A octa-core chipset, coupled with Mali G51 GPU. Matepad T10 runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 on the top.


In terms of Camera, the tablet boasts a single 5-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 lens. There is a 2-megapixel selfie camera at the front with an f/2.4 lens. Matepad T10 is packed with a 5,100mAh battery and support 10W fast charging. 


For connectivity, the Huawei MatePad T10 include LTE (optional), Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. There is a built-in accelerometer. The tablet has stereo speakers. It measures 240.2x159x7.85mm and weighs 450 grams. There is also up to 32GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).

The Huawei MatePad T10s features a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1,920×1,200 pixels resolution and 224ppi pixel density. The tablet is also powered by the same HiSilicon Kirin 710A octa-core SoC, paired with Mali G51 GPU. Matepad T10s runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10.2 on the top.


In terms of Camera, the tablet boasts a single 5-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 lens. There is a 2-megapixel selfie camera at the front with an f/2.4 lens. Matepad T10s is packed with a 5,100mAh battery and support 10W fast charging. 


For connectivity, the Huawei MatePad T10s include LTE (optional), Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of Sensors the Tablet include an accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor. The tablet has stereo speakers. It measures 240.2x159x7.85mm and weighs 450 grams. There is also up to 64GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).

Huawei MatePad T10 comes in two storage configurations 2GB/16GB and 2GB/32GB. The 16GB storage variant price has been set at EUR 159.90 (Rs. 14,000 approx) while the 32GB storage configuration is priced at EUR 179.90 (Rs. 15,600 approx). The LTE variant comes in a single 2GB/32GB storage option and carries a price tag of EUR 199.90 (Rs. 17,300 approx).


Huawei MatePad T10s comes in two storage configurations 2GB/32GB and 3GB/64GB for both Wi-fi and LTE versions. The 2GB + 32GB Wi-fi version is priced at EUR 209.90 ( Rs. 18,200 approx ), whereas its LTE variant comes at a price of EUR 249.90 ( Rs. 21,700 approx ). The 3GB + 64GB Wi-fi version priced at EUR 229.90 ( Rs. 19,900 approx ) and its LTE option comes with a price tag of EUR 279.90 ( Rs. 24,300 approx ).


The Wi-Fi and LTE variant of the Huawei MatePad T10 in 2GB + 32GB storage option will go on sale in Italy in late September, while its Wi-Fi 2GB + 16GB storage option will be available starting early October, along with the Huawei MatePad T10s.
