Honor Play5 Vitality Edition was revealed in the hometown “China” as the new budget 5G smartphone. The phone comes with MediaTek octa-core chipset, 5G connectivity, fast refresh rate punch-hole display, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, and more. It has arrived as a successor to the Honor Play5 that was unveiled back in May this year.

Honor Play5 Vitality Edition features a 6.67 inches LCD display with a Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2376 pixels ) resolution, 120Hz fast refresh rate, and 94.4 percent screen to body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core processor that comes coupled with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB RAM with 2GB virtual RAM support and up to 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the pill-shaped punch-hole. The device is running on Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2 on top.
The smartphone is packed with a 4300mah battery and supports 66W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a Type-C USB port. Additionally, the device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of Dimensions, the Honor Play5 Vitality Edition measures 161.8 ×74.7 × 8.5mm and weighs 192 grams.

The company offered the phone in two color options namely Midnight Black and Aurora Blue. The smartphone will go for sale from November 1 and is currently available for pre-orders in China.
