Honor Play 30 5G was announced in India as the new budget 5G smartphone from the Chinese Tech Giant. The new device comes with an iPhone-like rear shell design, Qualcomm’s entry-level 5G chipset, a big battery, a solo rear camera, a waterdrop notch display, and more.

Honor Play 30 5G flaunts a 6.5 inches LCD display with an HD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 269ppi pixel density, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Coming to optics, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel solo rear camera along with an LED flash placed diagonally to the lens. The phone sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch.
Under the hood, the smartphone is packed with a Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G processor that comes coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. It is accompanied by 4GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 163.66 x 75.13 x 8.68mm and weighs 194 grams.
The phone comes running on Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0 skin on top. For connectivity, the device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mah battery and 10W charging support.

Honor Play 30 5G comes in two configurations:
- 4GB + 128GB priced at 1,099 yuan ( Rs. 12,500 approx )
- 8GB + 128GB priced at 1,399 yuan ( Rs. 16,000 approx )
The phone comes in four color options namely Magic Night Black, Dawn Gold, Aurora Blue, and Titanium Silver. It is currently available for purchase in China and there are no words regarding its availability outside China.
