Honda, the undisputed leader in the world of scooters, has announced the launch of their third 125cc scooty in India. It comes as a bigger version of the company’s sporty scooter Dior. Today Honda Dio 125 is officially released. Prices start at Tk 83,400 (ex-showroom). The new model can be chosen in two variants – Standard and Smart. The latter is priced at Tk 91,300 (ex-showroom). Honda Dio 125 : Color and Design
The Honda DO 125 is available in seven color schemes – Pearl Siren Blue, Pearl Deep Ground Grey, Pearl Night Star Black, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Matte Sangria Red Metallic and Sports Red. The scooter looks great with a sporty front and sharp headlamps and sleek position lamps. Dual outlet muffler with chrome cover and modern taillamps with new split grabrails are eye catching. The Honda DO 125 will ride on alloy wheels with new graphics and logos.
Honda Dio 125 : Features and Engine
Notable features on the Honda Dio 125 include side stand indicator with seat unlock and multi function switch for opening external fuel lead, full digital meter, idling stop system and engine inhibitor. The full digital instrument cluster will display various information related to riding. Like – Range, Average Fuel Efficiency, Real Time Fuel Efficiency, Trip, Clock, Side Stand Indicator, Smart Key & Battery Indicator, Eco Indicator and Service Due Indicator. The scooter will be powered by a 125 cc, PGM-FI and eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) petrol engine producing 8.19 bhp of power and 10.4 Nm of torque.

The biggest attraction of the Honda DO 125 scooter is the Smart-Key feature This key will activate the SmartFind, SmartUnlock, SmartStart and SmartSafe features, just like a key fob in an expensive car. With the SmartFind feature, you can easily recognize your scooter even in the crowd as four indicators light up together.
Besides, instead of turning on the engine by inserting the traditional key into the slot, the scooter can be turned on through the switch on the key fob through SmartStart technology. And the handlebar, fuel filler cap and undership storage unit can be locked and unlocked remotely through SmartUnlock. And SmartSafe will help increase the safety of the scooter. As a result, there will be no fear of theft.
