There is a good demand for medium weight supersports bikes in the market now. The wave of which is hitting from Europe to India as well. Honda has launched a new version of the CBR650R that was unveiled last November, increasing the frenzy of bike lovers. The Japanese company is expected to bring the full-faired motorcycle to India in the next few months.
Honda CBR650R has been launched
The Honda CBR650R has received even sharper design updates than before. The company’s 1,000 cc CBR-like aerodynamic bodywork and youthful design stand out. Split headlights and transparent visor will catch the eye. There are two paint schemes to choose from – Matte Gunpowder Metallic and Grand Prix Red.
The Honda supersports bike is powered by a 649 cc, inline-four cylinder engine. From which 94 bhp of power and 62.3 Nm of torque will be available. The number of gears is six. Talking about the notable features, the Honda CBR650R has traction control, ABS, TFT screen with full LED illumination and smartphone connectivity.
In addition, the Honda CBR650R has a 41mm Showa Separate Fork Function large piston fork at the front and a 10-step adjustable rear shock unit at the rear. 310 mm dual and 240 mm single disc brakes at the front and rear respectively. The new Honda CBR650R has been priced in Europe at 8,599 Euros, which is around 7.69 lakhs in Indian currency. However, the bike is expected to be launched at a higher price in India
