Hero MotoCorp’s Dadagiri continued in June as well. They retained the title of the country’s largest two-wheeler company by selling 4,36,993 units of bikes and scooters last month. However, as the sales amount was 4,84,867 units at that time a year ago, a slight decline has been noticed in this year’s sales. However, Hero is hoping that two-wheeler sales will pick up ahead of the festive season in the country and the arrival of the monsoons. As a result, the company will be able to bring home more financial profit.
Hero MotoCorp released two-wheeler sales figures for June
Hero MotoCorp sold a total of 4,04,474 motorcycles last month. Whereas a year ago the sales were 4,61,421 units. However, scooter sales increased to 32,519 units from 23,446 (June, 2022). However, the sales of two-wheelers in the country’s market decreased from 4,63,210 a year ago to 4,22,757 units last month. On the other hand, they exported 14,236 units of two-wheelers in June. Whereas a year ago the number was 21,657.
Hero MotoCorp is gearing up for multiple two-wheeler launches this year. One of which was the Harley X440. Besides, the company’s legendary sports bike Karizma is making a comeback in a new avatar in August. Besides, the company may update some other models this year.
The company has recently launched the new version of their Xtreme 160R 4V to meet the goal of expanding into the premium segment. The bike comes with multiple smart features. Which is available in three variants – Standard, Connected 2.0 and Pro with upside down fork. Incidentally, last month Hero launched a new 100cc motorcycle range with updates – HF Deluxe and Passion+. The first appeared in the Canvas Black Edition. Whereas the new Passion+ is launched with the mind-blowing design and riding comfort of the younger generation.
