Hero Passion Plus was recently launched in India with new emission norms. It is priced at Rs 76,301 (ex-showroom). The motorcycle has returned to the country’s two-wheeler market after almost three years. It was discontinued in 2020 after the introduction of BS6 emission norms. Hero Passion Plus vs Passion Pro XTEC : Design and Color
In terms of design, Hero Passion Plus and Passion Pro XTEC are almost similar. Differences include angular headlamps, tank screws and exhaust. Passion Plus is offered in three colors – Sports Red, Nexus Blue and Heavy Grey. The Passion Pro, on the other hand, is available in the top-spec XTEC variant. It is available in three colors – Candy Blazing Red, Force Silver and Polyester Blue.
Hero Passion Plus vs Passion Pro XTEC : Engine and Gearbox
Hero Passion Plus comes with a 97.2 cc, single cylinder, air cooled, fuel injected engine. It produces 7.9 bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the Passion Pro XTEC has an 113.2 cc, single cylinder, air cooled, fuel injected engine. It produces 9 bhp of power and 8.79 Nm of torque. Both models come with a 4-speed gearbox and a mileage of 60-70 kmpl.
Hero Passion Plus vs Passion Pro XTEC: Hardware and Features
Hero MotoCorp’s Passion Plus and Passion Pro models both feature telescopic front forks, and spring-loaded dual shock absorbers at the rear. To handle the braking duties, the Passion Pro is offered with drum brakes on both the wheels. Again it can be optioned with front disc brakes. Talking about the features, Passion Plus has a semi-digital instrument cluster. Whereas other models have all digital units. Both bikes have USB charging ports.
