Honda Africa Twin design patent filed in India
The Japanese brand has revamped the design of the new version of their Africa Twin. A touch of innovation has been given to the front. The new model can be optioned with manual and electronically adjusted suspension variants. Again, the Africa Twin Adventure Sports variant gets 19-inch front wheels and shorter suspension travel on both sides. The Adventure Sports is essentially a road oriented model.
Powering the wheels of the new Honda Africa Twin is a 1,084 cc parallel twin engine. It will produce a maximum torque of 112 Nm. Updates have been given to the bike’s airbox diameter, valves and fuel injectors. The DCT gearbox has been improved to provide an even better riding experience.
The trademark registration of the design confirms the upcoming launch of the Honda Africa Twin in India. As before, the bike will be assembled and sold in the country through Bigwing dealerships. The addition of new features may increase the price slightly from the previous one.
