Hero MotoCorp has announced a price hike on all motorcycles and scooters from July. The company said that the price will increase up to Tk 1,500 per model.

From July 1, the company will increase the purchase price of all two-wheelers sold in India. Which includes various best-selling bikes like Splendor, Passion and Glamour.

Hero MotoCorp has announced the increase in prices of all motorcycles and scooters by releasing an official press statement. It is mentioned there that the maximum increase is Rs 1,500 but the price increase may vary depending on the model. The company blamed the increase in input costs as the reason behind the decision.
According to statistics, Hero MotoCorp managed to sell a total of 4,79,450 two wheelers in the month of May. Whereas a year ago the number was 5,08,309 units. As a result, sales fell by 7% last month. However, the company exported 18,673 two-wheelers last month. Which is 7,598 units more than the same period last year.
Incidentally, motorcycle sales are higher than scooters in Hero MotoCorp's portfolio. Among the cheaper models, Hero Splendor, Hero Passion and Hero Glamor are most in demand. Hero Xtreme and Hero Xpulse are popular as premium motorcycles. The company sells scooters like Pleasure+ and Destini.
