BSNL prepares for 4G rollout in Andhra Pradesh, 2.17 lakh new connections activated in July
Some time ago it was spread on social media that the total number of SIM activations of BSNL in Andhra Pradesh has crossed 40 lakhs. And recently Bharat Savings Nigam Limited i.e. BSNL itself said that they have activated 2.17 lakh new connections in Andhra Pradesh in July. And this incident happened after the tariff increase of private telecom companies. Note that BSNL has also crossed the milestone of 1 lakh SIM activation in Andhra Pradesh in the last week of July.
BSNL 4G service is launched
BSNL is going to launch 4G services in major cities of Andhra Pradesh from 15th August. Now customers are also very eager to use BSNL new connection and started collecting new SIM. BSNL has already organized special camps for old customers to change SIM card from 2G to 4G.
BSNL will also reach remote rural areas
According to reports, BSNL has expanded its network by installing 1,200 new towers in remote villages of Andhra Pradesh. Also, BSNL said that their services will be active in every region of the state by the end of September. Now antennas, Base Transceiver Station (BTS) and core network works are currently in progress. According to reports, a senior BSNL employee said that the villages of Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, East Godavari, Kurnool and other districts will reach BSNL services by the end of September.
So, now it is expected that the users of Andhra Pradesh will be able to enjoy 4G services across the state by the end of September. However, for this they must use a BSNL 4G SIM and 4G handset.
