Xiaomi is currently gearing up to launch its premium grade Xiaomi 14T smartphone series and the company's first clamshell style foldable handset, the Xiaomi Mix Flip in the global market. Already several information regarding the specifications of the phones have been published online. The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro are rumored to come with powerful MediaTek processors and the Xiaomi Mix Flip foldable device will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Xiaomi fans are eagerly waiting for the official unveiling of these models. And now a source has revealed that the Xiaomi 14T, Xiaomi 14T Pro and Xiaomi Mix Flip have appeared in the GSMA IMEI database. Let's find out what new information has surfaced about these phones.
Xiaomi 14T series and Mix Flip coming soon
According to a recent post by an X (formerly known as Twitter) user Erenkan Yilmaz, the Xiaomi 14 series and Xiaomi Mix Flip have been listed in the GSMA IMEI database, indicating that these devices will be launched in the market soon. According to the IMEI platform, these three phones carry model numbers 2406APNFAG, 2407FPN8EG and 2405CPX3DG. The first model number is for the Xiaomi 14 handset, the second for the Xiaomi 14 Pro model and the last one for the Xiaomi Mix Flip. The letter 'G' at the end of the three model numbers indicates that these are the global versions of the three handsets, confirming that the devices will be sold in global markets. As Erenkan Yilmaz said, the Xiaomi 14 series and MIX Flip will be available for purchase to users around the world. However, it is also reported that these smartphones will not be sold in India.
Specifications of the Xiaomi 14 series have already been leaked. The top-end model in this lineup, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is rumored to run on the MediaTek Dimension 9300 processor. It is expected to be better than the upcoming Redmi K70 Ultra, the Chinese variant of the Xiaomi 14 Pro phone. Because compared to the Redmi K70 Ultra, the new Xiaomi 14 Pro will come with an improved telephoto camera and wireless charging support. It is rumored that the Redmi K70 Ultra model will not have a telephoto camera. Wireless charging support will also be missing from this Redmi phone.
On the other hand, the most affordable model of the 14T series, the Xiaomi 14T model has been spotted in the HyperOS source code with the codename “degas” and the internal model number “N12A”. Details about the specifications of the Xiaomi 14T phone have not surfaced, but it is expected to be powered by a powerful MediaTek processor. The Xiaomi 14T model is likely to have the same features as the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mix Flip phone will have a dual camera setup on the rear panel. The 50 megapixel Light Hunter 800 sensor has been used as the main camera. And the secondary camera is a 60-megapixel OV60A telephoto sensor. This sensor is supposed to offer 2x optical zoom. Xiaomi Mix Flip may come with better zoom capabilities than its competitors. It should be noted here that the Xiaomi Mix Flip phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Xiaomi 14T series and Mix Flip are expected to be launched between August and September. And, the Xiaomi 15 series will be unveiled in October.
