Xiaomi is said to be working on two new foldable smartphone models and it is speculated that they will hit the market next year. Xiaomi MIX Flip & MIX Fold 4 may launch next year
The tipster posted on digital chat station Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website) hinted that Xiaomi will launch its first flip phone by 2024. Along with this, the brand is also planning to release the next generation Mix Fold 4 model next year.
However, the predecessor of Mix Fold 4, Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, has not yet been officially launched in the market. It is heard that this phone will make its debut in July or August this year. But before that now the tipster has revealed some information about the next generation model in his recent post. According to him, the Mix Fold 4 will carry the model number N17 and the Mix Flip will carry the model number N18. He also added that both the models will be launched next year and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
Although the exact chipset name has not been revealed, the digital chat station claims that it will be included in Qualcomm’s flagship grade Snapdragon 8 series, which will offer improved performance.
