And now the launch date of this upcoming series has been officially announced by the brand. These phones are going to hit the market later this month. Let's know the details about the launch of Honor 200 series.
Honor 200 series launch date announced
Honor has announced that it will unveil the standard Honor 200 and the high-end Honor 200 Pro phones in China on May 27. Even the pre-order process for these handsets has now been launched on Honor's website, which has revealed the design and color options of the two models. It appears that both the models will be available in four colors: Black, Pink, White and Blue. They offer a similar rear design with a comparable camera island design.
The main design difference between the two phones can be seen on the front. The standard Honor 200 model has a punch-hole cutout for the front camera, while the Pro version has a pill-shaped notch, likely to house the dual selfie cameras. While the specifications of these handsets are yet to be announced by Honor, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has tipped off the potential features of the Honor 200 series.
Tipster DCS claims that both the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro phones will feature a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and f/1.9 aperture as the primary camera. DCS says that the lineup will feature a large 5,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging capability. Also, the telephoto camera is said to offer 50x digital zoom. Honor has not yet confirmed the full specifications for the phone. More information about the Honor 200 series is expected to surface before the official launch event on May 27.
