The iQOO Neo 10 series is slated to hit the market later this year. Ahead of the launch, some important information about the lineup has now surfaced.
Last year, iQOO unveiled the iQOO 12 series and iQOO Neo 9 series in China in November and December respectively. It is believed that the brand will adopt a similar strategy this year for their upcoming series as well. A new report has revealed that the company is working on the iQOO Neo 10 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. A tipster has now shared some important information about the iQOO Neo 10 lineup ahead of its expected launch in the fourth quarter of this year. Let's take a look at them.
The leak is the initial details of the iQOO Neo 10 series
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has reported that the next-generation sub-flagship IQ Neo series of phones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and MediaTek Dimension 9400 chipsets. And Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will power the flagship IQ phones to be launched after the new Neo series.
Hence, it is believed that the IQ13 series may debut after the IQ Neo 10 series this year. Although the tipster didn't say it outright, it is believed that the IQ10 will run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Pro version may have a MediaTek Dimension 9400.
The tipster's Weibo (Chinese microblogging site) post also indicated that the iQOO Neo 10 models will have a metal mid-frame, while the iQOO Neo 9 series phones will feature a plastic frame. The iQOO Neo 10 model will probably come with a silicon battery with a capacity of more than 6,000 mAh, which will support fast charging technology of more than 100 watts. Also, the devices are expected to feature a 1.5K resolution flat display with ultra-slim bezels, emphasizing eye protection and advanced display standards.
Last year's iQOO Neo 9 series included two models, iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. These devices have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets respectively The Neo 9 Pro phone remains exclusive to the Chinese market, while the iQOO Neo 9 has been rebranded as the iQOO Neo 9 in India. Currently, there is no clear information about the global launch of the iQOO Neo 10 series.
