Why buy another phone, Tecno Pova 6 will support 6000mah battery, 70W charging

Tecno will reportedly launch its next Pova 6 series of smartphones at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024). The event is scheduled to take place next week in Barcelona, ​​Spain. So, don’t wait too long for the launch. Ahead of its official debut, the Tecno Pova 6 phone is currently spotted on various certification sites. As of now it has been approved by SIRIM of Malaysia.

Tecno Pova 6 spotted on SIRIM’s database

The Tecno Pova 6 phone has been spotted on the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia’s certification platform with code L17. Apart from the standard version, the Pova 6 lineup also includes the Tecno Pova 6 Neo and Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G models, which are expected to carry model codes L16 and L19 respectively.

Notably, both the Standard and Pro variants have recently received the Declaration of Conformity from Europe. Some features are revealed from this certification listing. As reported, the series will feature a massive 6,000mAh battery and support 70W fast charging. However, the detailed specifications of the Techno Pova 6 are still unknown. Earlier, the Tecno Pova 6 Pro was also spotted on Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification platform.

Notably, the highlight of the Pova 6 series will be the top-end Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G model, which recently appeared on the Google Play Console. The listing reveals that the smartphone will have a Full HD+ display and will run on the latest Android 14 operating system. Google Play Console also mentions that it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset with 12 GB RAM.

It is to be noted that apart from smartphones, it is heard that Tecno will display various innovative products at the Mobile World Congress 2024. These include the Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra notebook, the innovative Dynamic 1 intelligent dog, the Windows-based Pocket Go handheld gaming console and a concept model of the Tecno Phantom Ultimate, which will feature a novel rollable display.
