Nothing is gearing up to launch their next generation smartphone, Nothing Phone (2) in July. Ahead of the launch, the brand has also confirmed some details about the device. Recently, the design of this phone was also leaked online courtesy of a tipster. But shortly thereafter Nothing’s founder and CEO Carl Pei claimed that the leaked renders were “fakes”. But now, some images of the TPU case of the Nothing Phone (2) have surfaced, which are surprisingly similar to the earlier renders. Let’s find out what the new phone cover images revealed.
The leak is the image of the TPU case of the Nothing Phone (2).
Tipster SlashLeaks shared renders of the new Nothing Phone (2)’s thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) case, which showcased various cutouts for the phone’s speaker vents, Type-C port, and microphone. Apart from this, two more cutouts can be seen on the back side of the device for the flash and camera module. And all these cutouts are similar to the renders of the phone (2) that were leaked earlier.
Also, one notable feature that emerges from the images of this TPU case, is its redesigned corners. It also provides protection against damage that may occur when the phone is accidentally dropped from the hand. Although, Nothing has not officially announced anything about this feature, it is speculated that the Nothing Phone (2) may come with a protective cover, which will not only protect the device, but also showcase Nothing’s iconic design.
