After the successful launch of the Vivo X90 series last year, Vivo has now started working on the flagship smartphone of their X100 lineup. Vivo usually launches the X series in China in the fourth quarter of every year. As a result, it is expected that the Vivo X100 series will continue the trend by entering the market later this year. Before that, the specifications of the global variant of Vivo X100 5G have been leaked.
Vivo X100 specifications leaked
TheTechOutlook and tipster Pars Googlani have jointly shared some key specifications of the Vivo X100 5G Global. The flagship phone will have an AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will debut in three color options – Black, White and Purple.
The Vivo X100 5G will be powered by the global MediaTek Dimension 8 series processor. However, some sources recently indicated that the Chinese version of this phone will have a more powerful MediaTek Dimension 9300 chipset. This difference in processors can be interpreted as a cost-cutting strategy and could tempt customers to opt for the higher-end Pro model over the standard Vivo X100 5G. However, pending official confirmation from Vivo, it is not possible to confirm whether the information is correct or not.
The Vivo X100 5G phone is said to be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options. It may offer a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support for power backup. Also, the upcoming X100 5G is expected to debut with the new Android 14 based operating system.
