Vivo launched their Vivo Y200 smartphone in October last year. The brand is currently said to be gearing up to launch the new Vivo Y200i model under the same series. The smartphone has now appeared on China Telecom’s website, which has revealed everything from the design and specifications to the price. Let’s see what Vivo Y200i has to offer.
Vivo Y200i Price, Design, and Specifications Leaked
The Vivo Y200i phone with model number V2354A has appeared on China Telecom’s platform. According to its listing, the handset will sport a large 6.72-inch display with a resolution of 2,408 x 1,080 pixels. Although the exact display technology has not been confirmed, it is expected to be an LCD panel considering the price point. The phone will measure 165.70 x 76.00 x 7.99 mm and weigh 199 grams.
In terms of performance, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor will power the Vivo Y200i, which is more powerful than the 4 Gen 1 chip used in the standard Vivo Y200. The upcoming Vivo phone may come in three variants – 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage.
For photography, the Vivo Y200i will feature a dual-camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor on the rear panel. Its secondary sensor is believed to have a resolution of 2 megapixels, which will likely capture depth shots. And for selfies and video calls, the phone will house an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
In terms of power backup, the Vivo Y200i will have a massive 6,000 mAh battery and support USB-C port on the phone for charging. In terms of connectivity, the Vivo Y200i will offer standard options like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The phone will include a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio.
Incidentally, apart from the Vivo Y200i’s appearance on China Telecom’s site, the smartphone has also appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform and the China Compulsory Certification site. This Vivo phone with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor scored 3,199 points in Geekbench’s single-core round and 7,931 points in multi-core test. Whereas, the 3C listing revealed that the Vivo Y200i will support 44W fast charging technology.
Vivo Y200i Price and Availability
The base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model of the Vivo Y200i is said to be priced at 1799 Yuan (roughly Rs. 21,150). On the other hand, the 12GB RAM variants with 256GB and 512G storage will be priced at 1899 Yuan (roughly Rs. 22,310) and 1999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 23,480) respectively. However, there may be some difference in the price at the time of launch.
