Vivo Y38 5G: Vivo’s new 5G phone is coming to the market, will get 44W fast charging support

Vivo is currently gearing up for the launch of their new Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y38 5G. Now the Vivo Y38 phone has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website. Besides, the device has obtained the clearance from CQC authority. Let’s see what these certifications reveal about the Vivo Y38 5G.

Vivo Y38 5G is certified by Bluetooth SIG and CQC

Vivo Y38 5G with model number V2343 has been spotted on Bluetooth Special Interest Group’s platform. Its listing reveals that it will come with Bluetooth 5.1 support. The handset will support 15W (5V/3A), 18W (9V/2A) and 44W (11V/4A) fast charging speeds. While the Vivo Y38 is also listed in the China Quality Certification Database with the same model number, it has not revealed any information about the specifications.

However, the Vivo Y38 5G has already been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, which revealed the chipset and RAM. A few months ago the Vivo V2343 phone appeared on the Geekbench 4 benchmark database. It scored 3,092 points and 7,035 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The phone will have an octa-core processor with Adreno 613 GPU. It could be Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2.

The company has already launched several Snapdragon 4 Gen 2-powered smartphones, including the Vivo Y200e, Vivo Y100 5G, Vivo V30 Lite 5G, and Vivo V40 SE 5G. Also, Geekbench revealed that the Vivo Y38 5G will have 8GB of RAM, but more RAM options may be revealed at launch. The phone is said to run on Android 14 operating system.
