Last year Vivo launched the Vivo Y200 smartphone in the global market. It was later launched in China last May with new design and specifications. And now, it is believed that the company is developing another variant of the Vivo Y200 phone. The new device with model number V2417 has been spotted on certification websites such as NBTC, EEC and SGS Fimko. Let's find out what these listings reveal.
Vivo Y200 on NBTC, EEC and SGS Fimko certification websites
Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification listing has confirmed the Vivo Y200 name and its 5G capabilities. However, the other two certifications did not reveal any details about the device's specifications.
Vivo has already launched this model, so it is believed that the company might be planning to launch a new storage variant for the smartphone. Currently, the Vivo Y200 is available in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. So, there is a strong possibility that Vivo is preparing to launch a 12GB RAM or 512GB storage variant. However, it is important to note that this is purely speculative.
