Vivo is going to launch their new foldable smartphone series Vivo X Fold 3 very soon. The upcoming lineup is said to include two devices in total, namely – Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro. Of which the performance numbers of the standard variant of the series i.e. Vivo X Fold 3 were recently revealed through the AnTuTu platform. And now, courtesy of Xinhua News Agency, some sample images taken using the camera of the top-end model Vivo X Fold 3 Pro have surfaced.

According to the newly leaked camera samples, the upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 Pro smartphone will feature a primary camera with f/1.68 aperture support, with a focal length equivalent to 23mm. As a secondary camera, the device will have a telephoto camera, which will support approximately 70mm focal length and f/2.57 aperture.
Incidentally, some information regarding the camera department of this foldable device was shared on the internet. As claimed, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro phone will feature a 50-megapixel OV50H OmniVision primary sensor with f/1.68 aperture. 64 megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto lens will be given as a secondary camera, which will support 3x optical zoom, 70 mm focal length. This secondary shooter is also said to come with macro photography capabilities. Therefore, the newly released camera sample data and the previously published report largely match the claims.
Meanwhile, judging by the pictures that have come to light, we have reached some conclusions. For instance, the telephoto camera of this upcoming foldable phone from Vivo branding will offer good enough detailing even with maximum zoom. Again the device will allow impressive photography in low light or low-light.

According to some previous reports, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro phone will feature a 6.53-inch OLED cover panel and an 8.03-inch foldable OLED display panel. The touch-screen will support two resolutions of 2748×1172 pixels and 2408×2200 pixels respectively. It will get an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for security. The device may come pre-loaded with Android 14 based OriginOS 4 custom skin.
It will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and Vivo V3 chip to provide better performance. Up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage will be offered with this phone. The handset is likely to come with a 5,800mAh capacity battery with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging technology. Other features include – IR blaster, dual speaker system, X-Linear linear motor. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro foldable phone may include a glass back panel and water-resistant chassis.
