Vivo V40 series is coming to shake the market, all the specifications are leaked along with the design

Vivo is going to add some new smartphones to their V series. These are Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro. Both the handsets are expected to hit the global market very soon. But ahead of the launch, the official-looking renders of the standard Vivo V40 phone have surfaced along with some key specifications. Let's find out what this upcoming V series handset is going to offer.

The design and key specifications of the Vivo V40 phone have been revealed

According to the leaked renders, the design of the Vivo V40 phone will be similar to its predecessor Vivo V30 model. Its rear panel houses a large and oval-shaped camera module with a small circular housing for the dual camera sensor, which features Zeiss branding. Below the phone's main camera setup is another oval cutout that houses Vivo's signature Aura Light and an additional sensor. However, it is not yet known whether it will be of any use. The renders show the phone in two color shades – Purple and Grey/Silver. The front of the Vivo V40 handset will feature a curved-edge display, ultra-slim bezels and a centered punch-hole cutout similar to the Vivo V30 model.

Coming to the specifications, the Vivo V40 phone has a 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The phone is likely to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which may be paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage like the V30.

For photography, the camera setup of the Vivo V40 mobile phone will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. And for selfies, a 50-megapixel front-facing camera can be seen in front of the phone.

A significant upgrade of the Vivo V40 phone can be seen in its battery department. It is rumored that the device will have a large 5,500mAh battery, which will support 80W fast charging. This is an improvement over the 5,000mAh battery found in the V30 model. The phone's standard connectivity options include dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and a USB Type-C port. On the software front, the Vivo V40 is expected to run on the latest Android 14 operating system. It is said to come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
