Within four months of unveiling the latest V27 series last March, Vivo has started preparations to launch its successor Vivo V29 series of smartphones. These new models are expected to be launched targeting the premium high mid-range segment. However, Vivo has not officially revealed any information about the upcoming V-lineup. But now the top-end V29 Pro model has been spotted on the GeekBench benchmarking site, revealing some of its key features. Let’s know about them.
Vivo V29 Pro spotted on GeekBench database
The Vivo V29 Pro device has been listed on popular benchmarking platform Geekbench. According to the listing, this phone carries the model number V2251. This indicates the upcoming launch of this Vivo smartphone in various markets, which probably includes India as well. Information published on the benchmarking database indicates that the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimension 8200 processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage.
Also, the device is said to run on Android 13 operating system, which is likely to have FuntouchOS 13 custom skin layered on top. In terms of benchmark results, the Vivo V29 Pro scored 4,394 points in the single-core test and 14,677 points in the multi-core test. Apart from these facts, nothing else is known from the Geekbench listing. However, an earlier report indicated that the Vivo V29 Pro will sport a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED display, offering FullHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
For photography, the Vivo V29 Pro will feature a triple camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor on the rear panel. And a 50 megapixel selfie camera is expected to be placed in front of the phone. For power backup, the Vivo V29 Pro is likely to come with a powerful 5,000mAh battery, which can support 66W fast charging.
