Today i.e. 1st August, Vivo has officially unveiled its latest smartphone series Vivo V29, the first and regular model Vivo V29. The company has confirmed that the phone will be launched in the European market. Vivo has not revealed the price of this new handset yet. However, its full feature list has not been made public. It is known that the Vivo V29 phone comes with an AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. Apart from that – Qualcomm octa-core chipset, 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and 4,600 mAh battery will be available. Additionally, the device is claimed to support up to 8GB virtual RAM feature. Now let’s know in detail about the specifications of Vivo V29 smartphone.
Specifications and Features of Vivo V29
The Vivo V29 smartphone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that supports 1.5K resolution, up to 120 Hz refresh rate, 452 ppi pixel density and DCI-P3 cinema-grade color gamut. Again, the display is three-layer SGS professional-grade eye protection certified to protect the user’s eyes. It features Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 778G processor and Adreno 642L GPU for multitasking and improved performance. This device will get 8 GB of RAM. Additionally, this phone also supports virtual RAM feature up to 8 GB.
Again, the Vivo V29 handset has a dual rear camera setup, the primary sensor of which has a 50-megapixel resolution and supports ‘Optical Image Stabilization’ (OIS) technology. Also, to ensure that the phone does not overheat due to prolonged use, it has an ultra-large VC bionic cooling system. In terms of power backup, it will get a 4,600mAh capacity battery, which supports 80W fast charging. As per the company’s claim, this battery can charge the device up to 50% in just 18 minutes. And to protect against water and dust, the Vivo V29 will come with an IP68 rating.
Vivo V29 Price
The post-launch Vivo V29 smartphone is confirmed to be available in – Peak Blue and Noble Black color options. However, while the details of the features and color variants have been revealed, nothing is known about how much it might be priced at. Vivo has not even disclosed the information that the device will be made available in any other domestic market apart from Europe.
Incidentally, the company has not yet revealed the specifications of the top-end model of the discussed series i.e. Vivo V29 Pro. But according to some previous reports, the phone might launch with an octa-core MediaTek Dimension 8200 processor and up to 12GB of RAM.
