Vivo has recently launched many Y-series smartphones including Vivo Y35+, Y36 and several other models. Some of these phones have been released in select countries around the world, while others are limited to the Chinese market. Meanwhile, Vivo is now gearing up to launch another budget smartphone, the Vivo Y02t. A lot of information about the device has already surfaced. And now, the Y02t has been spotted on the UAE’s TDRA certification website, indicating an imminent launch.

Vivo Y02 with model number V2254 (Global) has appeared on the website of Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). Other than the model number, no significant information has emerged from the certification. Incidentally, a phone from Vivo with the same name is currently available for purchase in India. However, this variant of the Vivo Y02T is targeted at the global market.
The Vivo Y02 is expected to arrive in the global market with the same specifications as in India. The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 270 ppi and a screen resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P30 processor, coupled with a Mali-G71 MP2 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Vivo Y02 runs on Android 13 operating system.
For photography, the Vivo Y02t features an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear panel and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging. Vivo Y02t comes in Black and Golden colors. The Indian version of the smartphone is already available on Flipkart for Rs 9,999.
