Vivo recently unveiled their latest foldable flagships, Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in China. It was recently reported that the company is gearing up to launch the top-of-the-line Pro variant in the Indian market, which will be Vivo's first foldable phone for the country. Now a report has revealed that the upcoming foldable will feature ZEISS branded lenses, offering a flagship imaging experience. Let's find out about this in detail.
The camera details of the Indian version of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro phone have surfaced
The partnership between Vivo and renowned camera maker, Zeiss is not new. However, it was only seen on Vivo's flagship X series phones until now, but now the mid-range Vivo V30 Pro model also uses the Zeiss lens. Notably, the upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 Pro phone will bring some features that have never been seen before on any phone in India. Not only is this Vivo's first foldable in India, it will also be the first foldable with a Zeiss imaging system. MySmartPrice revealed in their report that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro model will include the dual flagship chip, Vivo V3, with high-quality imaging support.
Apart from this, the optics of Vivo X Fold 3 Pro are said to have features like telephoto camera with extraordinary zooming capabilities and Zeiss multifocal portrait support. These features were previously seen on the Vivo X100 Pro phone. So expect it to have five golden focal lengths for portraits, each combined with Zeiss Style Portrait support. It can also capture professional-grade portrait shots with focal lengths of up to 100mm.
It is also reported that the upcoming Indian variant will have the same camera specifications as China's Vivo X Fold 3 series. So, it will have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Note that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Recently, the global version of this device appeared in the Geekbench database, which confirmed the presence of the same chipset. Also, it revealed that the smartphone will come with 16GB RAM and will run FuntouchOS custom skin based on Android 14 operating system.
