Realme quietly launched the two latest V series smartphones named Realme V60 and Realme V60s in the market. Both phones target the entry-level 5G segment. They offer basic specifications at an affordable price point. But most notably, despite the different names, the Realme V60 and Realme V60s are very similar in terms of design and hardware. Both the phones have HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 32-megapixel camera and 5,000mAh. Let's know the price, all the specifications and features of both the phones in detail.
Realme V60 and Realme V60s specifications and features
Both the Realme V60 and Realme V60S feature a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, supporting 720 x 1,604 pixels resolution and 625 nits peak brightness. Realme mentions that the screen can go down to a minimum of 1 nit, which is useful for night use.
For performance, both the Realme V60 and Realme V60S handsets use the MediaTek Dimension 6300 chipset. It's an octa-core processor, with two Cortex-A86 performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz for everyday tasks. The processor is paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB in-built storage. The phone also supports up to 8 GB RAM expansion. Both the Realme V60 and Realme V60S phones run Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin.
As for the camera, the Realme V60 and Realme V60s phones have a camera module with four cutouts on the rear panel, but only one 32-megapixel sensor and an LED flash. A 'clean look' has been maintained on the back panel with the “Realme” logo engraved at the bottom. And on the front of the phone there is an 8-megapixel punch-hole camera for selfies. For power backup, the Realme V60 and Realme V60s phones come with a 5,000mAh battery, which supports standard 10W charging. While the handsets are cheap, their display bezels are quite slim.
Realme V60 and Realme V60s Price and Availability
Although the Realme V60 and Realme V60s offer similar specifications, the two phones are priced differently. The base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Realme V60 phone is priced at 1,199 Yuan (approximately Rs. 13,800) and the 8GB + 256GB storage model is priced at 1,399 Yuan (approximately Rs. 16,100).
On the other hand, the Realme V60s phone is priced at 1,399 Yuan (about Tk 16,100) for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB model and 1,799 Yuan (about Tk 20,705) for the 8 GB + 256 GB storage variant. Both the models will be available in Star Gold and Turquoise color options. It is not yet known when these two handsets will hit the Indian market.
