OnePlus is going to launch the OnePlus 13 handset by the end of the year. Before the launch, important information about the phone's display and processor has come to the fore.
OnePlus is said to be working on its next flagship smartphone, which could hit the market later this year as the OnePlus 13. Meanwhile, a well-known tipster recently leaked information about an upcoming smartphone, which will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. One brand is believed to be working on Qualcomm's next flagship and a new phone with a curved display made by Chinese display manufacturer, BOE. Although the name of this device is still unclear, it could be the OnePlus 13.
OnePlus 13 handset may feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and 2K quad curved display
Tipster Digital Chat Station claimed in its Weibo (Chinese microblogging website) post that a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 powered phone with a 2K quad curved display is in the works. The screen is a BOE 8 LTPO panel, which will have an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Apart from these display specifications, the unknown phone is also expected to have an IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
In the comments section of this online post, the digital chat station said that the OnePlus 13 phone will have a micro-curved screen and may look similar to the Oppo Reno 12 phone. Some of these are consistent with previously published reports. The OnePlus 13 is expected to be one of the first devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The tipster claimed last month that the new OnePlus flagship will be powered by a massive battery, which could have a capacity of 6,000 mAh. However, it is heard that it will not support wireless charging.
It is also known that the OnePlus 13 phone will have three 50-megapixel cameras. One of these is a Sony LYT-808 primary camera, a Sony IMX882 camera for ultrawide shots and another IMX882 camera for periscope zoom. The camera setup may come with Hasselblad camera optimization.
