Last month Tecno released the first teasers for their upcoming Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 foldable phones. However, the company is yet to confirm the specifications and launch date of these next generation devices. Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 Phone Specifications (Probable)
Live images shared by Spillsambins report reveal that the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 (model number AE10) will have a 6.45-inch cover screen and a 7.85-inch inner foldable display. Both AMOLED panels will support 120 Hz LTPO technology. In terms of cameras, the rear panel of the device will have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel portrait (telephoto) lens. And a 32 megapixel camera will be seen in front of the phone. The device will support AI features like two-way conversation and call and text summarization. Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 will support Phantom V Pen stylus for features like note taking, handwriting calculations, AI drawing.
As for performance, the Phantom V Fold 2 handset will feature the same MediaTek Dimension 9000 Plus, which was used in the first-generation Phantom V Fold last year. It will get 12 GB RAM, 12 GB virtual RAM and 512 GB storage. For power backup, the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 handset will come with a 5,750 mAh battery, which is the largest battery for a foldable phone yet. It will support 70W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Other features of the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 phone include 5G dual SIM, multi-functional NFC, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a layered fiber glass back. Finally, it sports a slim profile of 5.8 millimeters when unfolded. It will be sold in color options like Karst Green and Rippling Blue.
Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 Phone Specifications (Probable)
The Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 (model number AE11) handset will feature a 6.9-inch 120Hz LTPO foldable screen. On the outside, a 3.64-inch cover display can be seen, which is significantly larger than its predecessor's circular outer screen. Tecno Phantom V Flip 2's cover display will support mini games, a full size keyboard, dynamic port functionality and more. It will also have a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus for protection from scratches.
For photography, the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 will house a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens on the phone's rear panel. And for selfies, a 32 megapixel front camera will be seen in front of the phone. It will have some AI-powered photography features like AI Eraser, AI Picture Cutout and AI Portrait. Although reports claim that the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 model will use the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset, the leaked image does not reveal the name of the chip.
It is also reported that the Tecno V Flip 2 handset will come with a 4,750 mAh battery, which is slightly smaller than the Xiaomi Mix Flip and Honor Magic V Flip. V Flip 2 will have 70W fast charging support. It will be available in two shades – Travertine Green and Moondust Grey.
