Xiaomi 15 series is going to hit the market next month. Two phones will be launched initially under this series – Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. Today again a Weibo tipster named 'Experience More' has leaked the camera specifications of the Xiaomi 15 Pro. If his claim is true, the upcoming flagship smartphone will use the telephoto camera of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
Xiaomi 15 Pro's telephoto camera will be better than Xiaomi 14 Pro's
The tipster claims that the Xiaomi 15 Pro is using a Sony IMX858 sensor as the telephoto camera. It will offer 5x zoom and 120mm focal length. Whereas the Xiaomi 14 Pro device featured a 75mm telephoto lens, which offered 3.2x optical zoom. Note that the Sony IMX858 camera sensor was used in the Xiaomi 13 Ultra model. The company is now going to use this sensor in the Pro model as well.
Meanwhile, the tipster claims that in addition to the 5x telephoto camera sensor, the Xiaomi 15 Pro phone will feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor, which will offer a variable aperture range of f/1.4 to f/2.5. Besides, this device will also have a 50 megapixel ultra wide lens.
Earlier it was reported that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will come with a punch hole display. This display will offer 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. It will have a metal frame. A Titanium edition may also be introduced. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor will be used for performance. It will have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security.
