Realme today announced the launch date of its upcoming smartphone Realme 12x 5G in India. The device is going to be released in the country in the first week of April. Besides, a new teaser poster has also been shared by the company today. Where its design is clearly visible. Again some key features of the device have been brought to the public.
When is Realme 12x smartphone launching in India?
Last week, the Realme 12X smartphone was announced in China. However, the information about when the device will be launched in India was not made public then. Now the company has confirmed that the phone will make its debut in the country on April 2nd.
Realme 12x smartphone design and features revealed
According to the latest teaser shared by the company, the Realme 12x smartphone will feature a display panel with 120 Hz refresh rate support. It will use MediaTek Dimension 6100+ 5G processor to deliver good performance. Again for power backup there will be a powerful 5,000mAh capacity battery, which will support 45W SuperVoc wired fast charging. The phone is also confirmed to offer a dual speaker setup. After all, Realme claims that the upcoming handset will be the fastest performing model in the segment.
Again the design of this smartphone is clearly seen in the teaser. In this case, a large round camera module is noticeable on the back panel of Realme 12x. Among which three sensors and an LED light are located. From top to bottom of the device, a long line runs through the camera module. The left edge of the phone has the volume rocker and power button. Again the brand logo will be on the lower left side of the back panel. This latest phone from Realme is available in Dark Green and Purple color options.
As mentioned earlier the Realme 12x smartphone has already made its debut in China. As a result, the features of both the Chinese and Indian versions may be the same. In this case, the Chinese version of the device has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display panel with Full HD Plus resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate support. It comes with 12 GB RAM. But additionally supports 12 GB virtual RAM feature. For photography and videography, it features a dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth shooter. Meanwhile, the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. A 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner are present as security features. The device is water and dust resistant as it has an IP54 rating.
