The wait is over, Realme 12+ launching in India next month, will get 50 megapixel camera

Realme today confirmed the Indian launch date of one of their upcoming handsets. We are talking about the Realme 12+ smartphone. According to the company’s announcement, the device will make its debut in the country on March 6 at 12 noon. Along with this announcement, the company also went live on their Indian branch website for a dedicated microsite for the phone. But most notably, the complete specification list of the Realme 12+ smartphone has come out before the official launch thanks to an e-commerce platform.

Realme 12+ smartphone specifications leaked online

The Realme 12+ smartphone will enter the country’s market on March 6. But before that, on February 29, the device is also going to be released in the Malaysian market. That’s why this phone is currently listed for pre-order on an e-commerce website called ‘DirectD’. And its complete specification list has been leaked through this online shopping portal. It is believed that the Malaysian and Indian variants of the phone will offer similar features.

According to the listing, the upcoming Realme 12+ smartphone will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. This touchscreen – will offer Full HD Plus resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will have MediaTek Dimension 7059 processor to offer better performance. Up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM will be available as storage. It will run on the latest Android 14 based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin. For photography and videography, there will be a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. In terms of power backup, the Realme 12+ will come with a 5,000mAh battery, which will support 67W SuperVook fast charging technology.

Incidentally in the teaser image shared by Realme, the rear panel of the upcoming handset is clearly visible. Realme 12+’s back panel features a large circular camera module in the middle. A silver vertical line runs down the middle of this panel. The brand logo is on the bottom left. In addition, the power button and volume rocker are located on the left side of the phone.
