Recently Vivo announced the launch date of Vivo Y200e 5G smartphone in India. The device is slated to release in the country on February 22 However, before its official debut, information regarding the price and features of the upcoming Vivo handset was leaked online by a popular tipster. Not only this, the information about the design of the Vivo Y200e 5G smartphone and how many color options it will be launched with has also come to light.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav has shared an image on Halfil, which appears to be the official marketing poster of the upcoming Vivo Y200e smartphone. According to this image, the handset will be launched in the country in a total of two storage configurations. Namely – 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. Out of which the MRP of the base variant can be kept at Rs 23,999 and the higher model at Rs 25,999.
The leaked poster also reveals several key features of the Vivo phone. From which it is known, it will offer a 6.67-inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo Y200E handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor for better performance. The device will support up to 8GB extender RAM feature and will be powered by Android 14 based FunTouch OS 14 custom skin. A 5,000mAh capacity battery will be provided for power backup, which will support 44W fast charging.
The Vivo Y200e phone will have a rear camera unit with – 50-megapixel primary sensor + 2-megapixel depth lens + a flicker sensor for photo and video calling. Again, there will be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. As a security feature, it will benefit from an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The poster shared by the tipster shows the Vivo Y200e smartphone in Orange and Blue color variants. The company has confirmed that the upcoming handset will be the first phone in India to offer a durable eco-fiber leather finishing design. In this case, it is likely that only the orange variant will come with leather finishing with a textured pattern design. And maybe glass or plastic panel can be used in blue color option.
