And now a tipster has revealed the configuration and price of the Indian version of the Redmi 12 At the same time, the tipster also revealed the storage variant and price of the Redmi 12 5G in the country However, Redmi has not yet confirmed whether the Redmi 12 5G will also be launched on August 1 along with the mentioned devices. Redmi 12 5G and Redmi 12 4G prices in India revealed

Tipster Abhishek Yadav revealed on Twitter that the 5G variant of the Redmi 12 will come in two variants – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. He claimed that the starting price of Redmi 12 5G will be Rs 13,999. On the other hand, the Redmi 12 4G will also be available in two configurations. These are – 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The price of this phone will start from Tk 9,999.

Rumor has it that the Redmi 12 5G will be a rebranded version of China’s Redmi Note 12R. Meanwhile, the specifications of the 4G version have already surfaced, as it was recently launched in some markets around the world, including Thailand. Both the smartphones will sport a 6.79-inch IPS LCD display, offering FullHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. Besides, both the phones will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support

In terms of performance, the Redmi 12 5G phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. It will feature a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens and a 5-megapixel front camera. On the other hand, the Redmi 12 features MediaTek’s Helio G88 chipset and a triple rear camera system with 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) sensors. According to reports, both the devices will run on Android 13 operating system with MIUI 14 user interface on top.
