Motorola India is currently gearing up to launch a new smartphone. Of which today the brand’s public relations team shared a teaser image. Whereas, it is confirmed that a launch event will be organized next month i.e. April. It is believed that the much talked about Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone is likely to be unveiled at this upcoming event.

As per Motorola’s announcement, a launch event will be held in India on April 3, where the screen will be removed from the top of a new smartphone. The teaser image also reads, “Save the date to witness the fusion of art and intelligence”. Shortly after the news broke, official (presumably) renders of the phone were leaked online. As a result, it is likely that this model will make its debut at the event to be held on April 3rd. In this regard, the upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone will come as a rebranded version of the Motorola X50 Ultra, which will be launched in China in April.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro Smartphone Probable Specifications and Design
According to a recent report, this upcoming handset from the Motorola brand will debut in – White, Black and Purple color options. It may offer faux leather back panel finishing.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and Adrenaline 740 GPU, coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM to offer better performance. For photography and videography, it will offer a triple rear camera setup consisting of – 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.4 aperture + an ultra-wide shooter with 13mm sensor size + a telephoto lens with 73mm sensor size and 6x optical zoom support.
The primary rear camera is claimed to support OIS technology and laser autofocus. And the Motorola Edge 50 Pro phone may get a 4,500mAh capacity battery, which will support 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
