iQOO is gearing up to launch its next Z-series smartphone, the iQOO Z9 5G in the Indian market. A microsite has now gone live on iQoor’s Indian branch website, confirming the iQOO Z9 5G’s chipset and camera specifications, to further hype up the phone ahead of its launch.
iQOO Z9 5G camera and chipset details
Aiko has confirmed that the Z9 5G phone will run on the MediaTek Dimension 7200 chipset. The Vivo-subsidiary brand claims that the smartphone has scored over 7,34,000 points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform. The ICO Z9 5G was recently spotted on the Geekbench database with the same processor. Which confirms that the device will debut with 8GB of RAM and Android 14 OS.
It is also reported that the iCo Z9 will be the first smartphone in its segment to offer a Sony IMX882 sensor as the main camera. It will support optical image stabilization (OIS). The microsite has revealed that the rear will have dual cameras with LED flash support. The Aiko Z9 will come in a green shade with a textured pattern and will be 7.83mm slim. It is confirmed to be available through Amazon.
As for other specifications, the iQOO Z9 5G is said to feature an OLED (OLED) display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits of peak brightness. Its OLED panel will have an in-display fingerprint scanner and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The smartphone is expected to come with 44W fast charging support. It is also known that this iCo smartphone will support virtual RAM expansion up to 8 GB.
A recent report by 91Mobiles Hindi claimed that the iQOO Z9 5G will be priced under Rs 25,000. While it is rumored to debut in early March, nothing has been confirmed by Aiko yet. But since the brand has now started releasing information about the iQOO Z9, expect to know more about the iQOO Z9 soon.
