The iQOO 13 phone will feature BOE's latest OLED display
Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) said in its latest Weibo (Chinese microblogging site) post that the OLED panel of the IQ13 handset may use the latest light-emitting technology from the first display maker, BOE.
The new technology is said to offer a number of upgrades, including a 33% increase in panel longevity and a 10% reduction in power consumption. The tipster also says the screen's “global” brightness will increase by 12.5%, and the new display technology could also reduce the risk of screen burn-in by 50%.
iQOO 13's 3C certification
China Compulsory Certification Platform or 3C has revealed some more details about the upcoming iQOO 13. The smartphone recently appeared on the certification site with the V2408A model number and 120W charging support.
Also, the flagship phone is expected to come with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The iQOO 13 phone may feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide lens and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX826 telephoto lens with 2x zoom.
Moreover, DCS had earlier said that the iQOO 13 model will have multiple variants with a maximum of 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It is also said to house a large battery, although specifics are yet to be revealed. Even the brand hasn't confirmed anything about the iQOO 13 yet. But as more information has started leaking online, its launch date doesn't seem to be far away.
