The Oppo Find X8 flagship smartphone series is set to hit the market by the end of the year. The specifications of the standard and Pro models of the series have now been revealed ahead of the launch.
Several recent reports claim that Oppo's upcoming Find X8 lineup will have three models – Oppo Find X8, Oppo Find X8 Pro and Oppo Find X8 Ultra. The 'Ultra' variant is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. It may debut in January next year. However, Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro are expected to launch in October. But before the launch now a well-known tipster has shared some information about them.
Oppo Find X8 and Oppo X8 Pro Phone Specifications (Probable)
Tipster Digital Chat Station claimed in its Weibo (Chinese microblogging site) post that the displays of the Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro phones will support 1.5K resolution and both models will be powered by the Dimension 9400 chipset. Notably, the Vivo X200 series is also expected to feature the same chipset. The X200 series is expected to debut as the world's first phone powered by the Dimension 9400 processor, with the Oppo Find X8 series coming soon after.
Both the smartphones will have a periscope telephoto lens. However, according to a previous Weibo post by Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X8 Pro model is expected to feature a quad-camera setup with dual periscope telephoto cameras.
Both the devices will come with a silicon-based large battery. It is already known that the Oppo Find X8 handset will be powered by a 5,600 mAh battery, while the Oppo Find X8 Pro phone will have a slightly larger 5,700 mAh battery. Although not mentioned by the tipster, the series will likely run on Android 15 and ColorOS 15 custom skins.
It is also reported that the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro handsets will have glass bodies. Both the phones will come in shades like Black, White, Blue and Pink. However, the Pro model will not be available in the pink color option. On the other hand, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra model is expected to feature a 2K display, a massive 6,000 mAh/ 6,200 mAh battery and support for satellite connectivity.
