Samsung is preparing for the second Galaxy Unpacked event of this year on July 26. At this event, the South Korean company plans to take the wraps off its much-awaited latest foldable smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. These cutting-edge devices will also debut in India, the world’s second-largest mobile phone market, among other countries. For the past several months, various speculations have been floating in the tech world about the Galaxy Z series of handsets. And now a well-known tipster has leaked the prices of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 Price in India
Tipster Pars Googlani claims that the starting price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 in India will be Rs 95,000. And the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 phone will start from Tk 1,43,500. Earlier this week, another source revealed that the base variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will come with 128GB of storage, while the base variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will offer 256GB of storage.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 Specifications (Probable)
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED primary display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display will measure 6.2 inches, offering the same 120Hz refresh rate as the inner screen. It may have Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5’s rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The inner screen and cover display will likely house a 5-megapixel under-display camera and a 10-megapixel sensor. Also, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to have NFC, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C 3.2 port, NanoSIM and E-SIM support for connectivity.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 model could come with a 3.4-inch HD cover display and a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED (AMOLED) primary screen, which will offer FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is likely to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of in-built storage. The battery used in the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have a capacity of 3,700 mAh and the phone is said to run on Android 13-based user interface.
