Samsung has taken the wraps off its two new A-series smartphones in the market today (March 11). These are Samsung Galaxy A35 and Samsung Galaxy A55. While the core features are almost identical, there are several differences between the two models. Galaxy A35 is comparatively cheaper than A55. So it comes with some downgraded specifications. The Samsung Galaxy A35 will feature a Super AMOLED display, Exynos 1380 processor, 50-megapixel primary camera sensor, 13-megapixel selfie camera, 5,000 mAh battery and IP67-rated build.

Just like its predecessor Samsung Galaxy A34, the latest Galaxy A35 comes with plastic frame and plastic back panel. However, it features a new key island design, which is slightly raised from the power and volume key frames. The phone has a 6.6-inch punch-hole Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The panel comes with FullHD+ resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) and 120 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone uses the Exynos 1380, which was also present in last year’s Galaxy A54. The chipset is paired with a maximum of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy A35 has a triple camera setup consisting of an optical image stabilization (OIS)-assisted 50-megapixel primary camera sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. And there is a 13-megapixel front-facing camera in front of the phone. The phone has an under-display fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers. It comes with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the software front, the Samsung Galaxy A35 runs on Android 14-based One UI 6.1 custom skin. Samsung promises four major OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates for this phone. Finally for power backup, the Samsung Galaxy A35 uses a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 25W wired charging.
Samsung Galaxy A35 Price and Availability
Samsung Galaxy A35 comes in four color options which are – Lilac, Lemon, Ice Blue and Navy. In Europe, the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Galaxy A35 is priced at 380 Euros (approximately Rs. 34,330). It will also be available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB memory configurations. The company has not released any information about the Indian price of the phone at the moment. But it is expected that Samsung will announce it soon.
