The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE appeared on Geekbench with model number SM-S721B, scoring 2,047 points in the benchmarking platform's single-core test and 6,289 points in the multi-core test. The listing reveals that the processor used in this handset has a 10-core CPU setup and motherboard ID of s5e9945, confirming that it is powered by Samsung's own Exynos 2400 processor.
However, it is believed to be a stripped down version of the Exynos 2400 phone compared to the standard Samsung Galaxy S24 phone. The Prime Cortex-X4 core in the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE runs at 3.11 GHz, which is slightly lower than the 3.21 GHz of the standard Exynos 2400 chip. But it will have the same Xclipse 940 GPU for graphics.
This indicates that the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE model is using a toned-down Exynos 2400 processor, which is evident from its lower clock speed. The top-end model of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE phone comes with 8GB of RAM, while the chip in the Galaxy S24 FE phone is said to be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Also, the 256GB storage model on the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE handset will support UFS 4.0 technology, while the 128GB storage versions may be limited to UFS 3.1.
Besides, other possible specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE mobile include a 6.7-inch display and a camera system similar to the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 FE phones. The phone may come with the same design as its predecessor and a 4,500mAh battery, 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support. While not much is known about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE yet, more information is expected to surface in the coming days.
