The launch of the Fan Edition model of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S-series has been delayed for a long time. The South Korean brand last launched the Galaxy S21 FE in January 2022. But currently Samsung has started preparing to launch the Galaxy S23 FE phone under their latest S23 series Several details about the device have already been revealed. And now a special edition of the handset has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site, revealing some of its key features.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE spotted on Geekbench
Last week the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with the model number SM-S711B. And now it is listed on this benchmarking platform with a different model number. The new variant of the Galaxy S23 has the model number SM-S711U1. This indicates that the device will have separate US and Global versions.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the phone’s motherboard is codenamed Taro and is made up of four cores clocked at 1.79GHz, three cores running at 2.50GHz and one core clocked at 3GHz. Along with this, Adreno 730 GPU will be used for graphics. This specification of the chipset corresponds to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The new listing also mentions 8GB of RAM and Android 13 OS. This version of the Galaxy S23 FE scored 1,549 and 3,718 points in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
Note that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is expected to launch in select markets. It is already known that the model with model number SM-S711B will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2200.
